Artificial intelligence, XR, digital twins, robots, etc. are being applied to the manufacturing industry in earnest, and ‘autonomous manufacturing’ is emerging as the final form of smart factory evolution, making it the first in Korea to do so. Related conferences and exhibitions will be held.

The 'Seoul International Smart Factory Conference & Expo' and the 'Bu-Ul-Gyeong International Smart Factory Conference & Expo', which have been held in Seoul and Busan in the first and second half of each year, will be held in 2023 as the Autonomous Manufacturing World Congress (AMWC). It has been upgraded to and will be held for two days on June 20th and 21st at the Grand Ballroom on the first floor of COEX in Seoul.

The 2023 Autonomous Production World Congress will operate six professional conferences along with booth exhibitions focusing on the advancement of smart factories and the core technologies of autonomous production systems, the next generation development direction.

The six fields are intelligent robots/smart logistics session, smart factory manufacturing/production solution session, digital twin/modeling/simulation session, smart machine vision/AR/3D printing session, artificial intelligence/big data/machine learning session, and smart control/sensor. /Constructed as a predictive conservation session.

Major domestic and foreign companies, as well as research institutes and academia, will all participate and give about 30 professional lectures on each topic.

Looking at the main topics in advance, △Explanation technology for multivariate predictive control using artificial intelligence △Optimization of data-based control for industrial sites △Use of artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms for autonomous production systems △3D printing technology for digital manufacturing △ SW-based factory operation management for multidimensional analysis and decision-making at manufacturing sites, △ Demonstration cases of automation system engineering for autonomous secondary battery production, etc. were included.

The two-day keynote lectures will be given by Machinalax, Mitsubishi Electric, POSCO, Schneider Electric, INEEJI, Korea Robot Industry Promotion Agency, and Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Team to kick off the conference.

In the afternoon track lecture, major leading companies in each field, including LS Electric, Rockwell Automation, Snui Lab, New Locle, Double AM, Benect, Younglimwon Soft Lab, IT Space, Pepper & Fux, IntheX, Marposs, and Smart MNF Group, etc. It goes out. In academia and research institutes, KAIST, Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, Sungkyunkwan University, Hoseo University, Pyeongtaek University, Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, and Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute will give customized on-site lectures.

As an integrated smart manufacturing innovation conference that organically connects next-generation technologies, it is expected to present development plans for smart factory advancement as well as technological advancement in the market for future autonomous production systems.

At the exhibition booth outside the conference hall, various smart manufacturing innovation solutions using new technologies such as AI, XR, and digital twin will be displayed to welcome visitors. Participating companies plan to introduce in earnest how to utilize the relevant technologies and solutions.

The 'International Smart Factory Conference & Expo', which has established itself as a venue for active exchange between supply and demand companies through lectures by field leaders and solution demonstration events, has been further upgraded to '2023 AMWC: 2023 Autonomous Production World Congress'. 'Expectations are rising as to what kind of appearance they will show.

Meanwhile, '2023 AMWC: 2023 Autonomous Production World Congress' is co-hosted by the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Promotion Team, Busan Techno Park, Gyeongnam Techno Park, Daejeon Techno Park, Industry News, and FA Journal Autonomous Manufacturing, and is sponsored by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
